Ko Olina’s spectacular weather and beachfront locale will provide a stunning backdrop for the Hawaii Food and Wine Festival’s “Magical Voyage of Food & Culture” finale on Sunday, September 9th. The second annual event is co-chaired by two of Hawaiis most recognized (and James Beard Award-winning) chefs Roy Yamaguchi and Alan Wong, and will feature a superstar line-up of internationally renown master chefs, culinary personalities and wine and spirit producers, and the talented culinary staffs of the J.W. Marriott Ihilani and Disneys new Aulani resort.

The four-day event will showcase dishes using Hawaiis bounty of local produce, seafood, beef and poultry.

Program and ticket information will be available in March.

She also noted that the barrels sit on earth (beneath those little pebbles) and that the storage room was damp, else the barrels would dry and crack (and spill all the precious product).
