Internet-Cottages Reveals Stunning New Norfolk Holiday Cottage in Wells-next-the-Sea on the North Norfolk Coast 0

London (PRWEB) November 24, 2011

Internet-Cottages is delighted to present the latest addition to its Norfolk Holiday Cottages section with this stunning newly refurbished holiday cottage in Wells-next-the-Sea on the North Norfolk Coast.

This charming Grade II listed brick and flint cottage was built around 1828, and has been in the owner’s family since 1911. Over the last year, it has been lovingly renovated and fully refurbished to marry modern and traditional materials, resulting in a quite stunning Norfolk holiday home.

The owners, Kevin and Vivienne Hegarty, have recently won an award for a new property in Suffolk namely ‘Winners of the Suffolk Archant 2010 Award’ for the best new build. They have applied the same attention to detail with this renovation and created a fantastic blend of original features and modern day comfort. Full details can be seen at Wisteria Holiday Cottage Norfolk

Wisteria Cottage is located only a few hundred yards from both the town and the quayside, providing easy access to the wonderful beach at Wells, with its acres of golden sand and famous beach huts. Like much of North Norfolk, it’s a foodie heaven, with a great many good food pubs in the immediate vicinity – or if you prefer self-catering, make sure to pay a visit to the delicatessen at Cley-next-the-Sea just along the coast, where you’ll be unable to resist making some sort of purchase. Also not-to-be-missed is Cookies Crab Shop – very much a legend in the area, with superb fresh seafood platters, served under a quirky collection of gazebos and a garden hut, with the added advantage of allowing you to take your own wine. Great food, fantastic value.

The holiday cottage has three bedrooms to accommodate up to 5 people – it’s strictly for adults only though, as there are two steep staircases in the property which make it unsuitable for children or those with limited mobility. It features a kitchen, dining room, cosy sitting room, reception area and cloakroom on the ground floor. The sitting room has comfortable sofas with a flat screen television with DVD player incorporating a full Sky package. The dining area offers seating for six and a comfortable chair to relax, read or simply unwind listening to your favourite music from the CD player or IPod deck. The kitchen which is well equipped includes a fridge freezer, double oven, microwave and washing machine.

There are two spacious double bedrooms and a single bedroom. The double rooms have King size beds and 32″ flat screen wall mounted televisions with Freesat viewing. All beds are fitted with pocket sprung mattresses and luxurious quality white bed linen. There are two traditional ‘winder’ staircases at each end of the cottage which makes it unsuitable for children or those with limited mobility. The luxury bathroom is fitted with a large double shower, a boat bath and a heated towel rail. The cottage has full gas central heating.

The outside area offers car parking for two vehicles, together with an attractive walled garden with two charming original washhouses and water pump surrounded by a double paved patio area with subtle lighting. This is complimented with wrought iron garden furniture.

The cottage is available all year round, with weekly rentals starting at

Posted on September 24, 2011 by wine

Are you one of those wine collectors who loves collecting wine just as a hobby? If that is the case, then you’ll probably need a wine bottle refrigerator to store you valuable wines and keep them in the best condition possible. This is particularly true when it comes to rare or vintage wines.

You cannot just keep your wine in an ordinary fridge, as the vibrations and light will break the wine down, reducing quality and flavor. One place where you can store these excellent wines you have, aside from a wine cellar, is through the use of a stylish built-in wine refrigerator. If you are a very serious wine collector then you would know why a built-in wine bottle refrigerator is preferable.

These built-in wine refrigerators are a perfect addition to your stylish kitchen. They can be found in various attractive designs to fit into your home décor and impress your friends. Having your wine stored in a specially designed wine cooler allows you to set the right temperature to preserve your wine properly.

There are various features that you may look into when searching for the right wine. Aside from the cupboard sized designs, you may also want to have detachable shelves that you can slide out to keep your wine ordered according to your preference and still within easy reach. One of the best design features that would allow other people to admire your wine collection is a built-in wine refrigerator that has a see-through glass door, an excellent choice for a modern style kitchen.

Often these built-in wine coolers measure around 15 inches wide and have a top quality ventilated cooling system. This allows you to have your entire wine collection stored even in a small area in your kitchen. All wine bottle refrigerators are completely adjustable so you can set the temperature.

We are all aware that wine is at its best when chilled and stored properly. Considering that wine has to be at its perfect temperature to preserve its flavor, having your own built-in wine refrigerator is a very good idea. You will find various options available for you as you look into your wine bottle refrigerator options. If you want to narrow down your search, you may also look into several providers available on the Internet, and you can choose from a wide range of options and prices shown in their websites product gallery.

Wine Fridges For Your Home 0

Posted on September 15, 2011 by wine

Wine fridges are a great way to safely store wine in your home. Wine storage needs special standards to protect your wines.

Installing a full size wine cellars is expensive and most homes just don’t have enough room available so more and more people are checking out small wine fridges.

There are several important differences between a wine fridge from a standard kitchen fridge.

First is the temperature. Your regular fridge is designed to cool items quickly to a temperature of around 40F. Instead a wine fridge is designed to cool your wine more slowly to 53-57F.
A wine cooler maintains the higher humidity that helps keep the wine cork moist whereas regular refrigerators are designed to remove humidity to better store perishables.
A wine fridge will also be devoid of the pungent smells and odors (think onions or leftovers) that could ruin the flavor of your wine.
Finally, wine fridges are designed to minimize the vibrations that can cause your wine to spoil. Just think about how many times the doors to your kitchen fridge are opened and closed each day.

Fridges for wines come in a variety of finishes that can easily be matched to your other kitchen appliances.

What Size Do You Need

Consider how many bottles of wine that you might want to store then double it. Once you start storing your wine, your collection will likely grow as you find favorites.

You can find countertop units that hold just a few bottles or larger freestanding units that can hold hundreds of bottles.

Just like there is a wide range of sizes available there are also a wide range of prices.

Q: What would you list as your most unique fridge item? A: Probably my Minus 8 Wine Vinegar from Niagara Vineyards. It's like the ice wine of vinegar. The flavour just explodes on your tongue. I serve it over grilled meats or grilled vegetable salads.
