Question by ilovezim9: gift idea help for a great doctor?
i cant stress enough how fantastic the doctor that delivered the baby is, the delivery could have gone really really bad because of how big she was and how small i am, even the forceps he used were outrageously risky bt he did everything perfectly. the man is awesome. so I want to like make him a gift basket or leave something for him at his office but i cant think of what. something personal but not too personal. cookies? wine? i dunno. any suggestions?

A nice framed, engraved (Thank you Dr.– from [daughter's name] and date of birth) picture of your baby might be nice. A gift basket is always cool, you could do fruit, home baked cookies, muffins, dessert breads, whatever.

I would stay away from wine because not everyone drinks and you never know if someone is a recovering alcoholic or religiously opposed to drinking or something.
